Although this is probably the worst and exposes the limitations of it's director Ken Grieve. While he is no way as bad as say Richard Martin - he has no idea how to frame a shot with the Daleks in, and they have seldom looked as unimposing as they do here. <br /><br />As you say the props don't help.<br /><br />If you needed it this episode is proof positive that most of Genesis of the Daleks was by Robert Holmes.<br /><br />In your last post you questioned the wisdom of bringing back Davros, due to the impact it had on the Daleks in future stories. Viewed in isolation this story is a horrible cul-de-sac of Dalek history to be avoided.<br /><br />As an aside I always thought it would probably have been more interesting if someone other than Daleks tried to bring back Davros in order to help defeat the Daleks. Be it humanity, Cybermen, Draconian - whoever.
